Our puppies are handled every day since birth. They are born and spend their first few weeks right in our living room. Once they are a few weeks old we move them out to our heated kennel building so they have more space to exercise and play. They are fed quality food, socialized, and exercised every day once able. Once they are old enough, they will go on adventures around our 29 acres as well as meet other dogs, cats, sheep, chickens, and kids.
Each pup goes to their new home with:
- Canadian Kennel Club registration
- Vet check
- Microchip
- 1st vaccine
- Dewormed
- Health guarantee*
- Puppy training booklet
- Puppy training phone consult (if desired)
- Sample of our puppy food
*A copy of K+A Golden’s Health Guarantee will be sent home with each pup. Please ask us to see a copy of the health guarantee ahead of time.

FAQs
How do I get on the list for a puppy?
Please contact us either by email or phone. We like to have a phone conversation with potential buyers to find out what they are looking for in a pup and make sure our kennel is a good match. If the buyer would like to move forward, we take a non-refundable deposit and place them on the list for either a male or a female (the buyer’s choice).
When do the puppies go to their new home?
Our puppies go to their new homes at 8 weeks, or close to it. We usually set up a different time slot on the weekend for each family to come, meet us, meet the mother and pups, choose their puppy, and take them home.
When do I get to choose my puppy?
We have families choose their puppy at 8 weeks when they come to pick them up. We find that this is the best time to choose as their personalities are the most pronounced at this time.
Who gets to choose their puppy first?
In almost every case, we allow families to choose their puppy based on the order that we receive their deposit. Families will always get their choice of either male or female.
What is a puppy training phone consultation?
We offer all of our clients with a puppy training phone consult before their pick up their puppy. This is to discuss any training questions the new owner may have, such as potty training, kennel training, chew toy training, introducing them to your home and other dogs, etc. If you are interested in a phone consult, let us know and we can set up a time.
